The power of PowerPoint editing! A misclick while trying to open Word no more! Now with our brains TEEMING with new teacher information, we are finally ready to make this resource work for us like never before!
Would you believe me if I told you that this masterpiece was created using only PowerPoint and the stock images they have on hand? If you had asked me a week ago, no yesterday, I would have said “No way, man”, but now my eyes are open – and I am never going back.
AND it has a built in audio and video recorder? Are you kidding me? The possibilities are endless!
While I made a simple inspirational poster, some of my peers went above and beyond and managed to knock out some very impressive resources in just the short time we had! If that doesn’t speak to the user-friendliness and efficiency of a classic (and overlooked) resource, then I don’t know what does!
Now, my new found love of PowerPoint doesn’t take away from the love I have for resources like Canva – or from the absolute powerhouse of a resource Google Slides is for group projects – but with everything I now know I can’t wait to explore PowerPoint even more – maybe even include it in my inquiry project! We’ll have to wait and see…
